Benefits of Teeth Whitening
Teeth whitening is one of the most popular cosmetic dental treatments, and it’s easy to see why! It can transform your smile and boost your confidence. We offer a range of whitening options, each designed to deliver its own set of benefits.
The biggest perk of teeth whitening is restoring your teeth’s natural color or even making them brighter than ever. It helps eliminate stains caused by smoking, coffee, tea, or simply aging. Whitening can also reduce yellowing, leaving your smile looking cleaner and more attractive. Plus, it’s a great way to improve your oral hygiene by getting rid of plaque buildup, which, if ignored, could lead to tooth decay or gum disease. And here’s the best part! It’s an affordable option compared to other cosmetic treatments like veneers or implants.

At Diamond Dental Dalaman, we believe that achieving a bright smile shouldn’t break the bank. Our teeth whitening services are not only highly effective but also budget-friendly. We offer a range of packages to suit your needs.

Philips Zoom and Teeth Whitening Technology.
How does teeth whitening work?
During your visit to Diamond Dental for your teeth whitening treatment , your dentist will apply a thin layer of a special whitening gel onto your teeth. The Dental Zoom light technology and whitening paste penetrates the tooth and removes discolouration and stains.
Your dentist will use a blue LED light 3 times during your 45 minute treatment, that will shine directly onto the teeth and speed up the whitening process. Once the treatment is finished, a post-treatment gel is applied to suppress sensitivity and provide enamel protection.
Are teeth whitening results permanent ?
Teeth whitening results are temporary. The whitening effects of the procedure can last from 3 months up to 3 years with proper oral hygiene.
A crucial part about teeth whitening is chain smoking cigarettes, drinking red wine, tea and coffee, these factors will cause staining and negate the effects of the treatment.
Please note that Teeth whitening does not work on crowns, dentures, fillings or veneers.
Before & After
You’ll notice a huge difference after your teeth whitening procedure and you’ll love showing off your pearly whites!
We always recommend using a dentist for instant teeth whitening, even if you choose an at-home kit option. Some of those kits that aren’t provided by your dentist could cause damage to gums and sensitive teeth. Better leave it to the professionals!

Teeth Whitening FAQs
Can teeth whitening damage teeth?
Professional dental products used under proper supervision do not damage teeth or gums. Some sensitivity may occur after the procedure, however this can easily be treated with a non-invasive gel and usually goes away after 3 hours of the treatment.
How does teeth whitening work?
Teeth whitening works by oxidizing the natural teeth. Oxygen molecules in the whitening gel interact with bright molecules trapped in the base, causing them to defuse and produce whitening of the teeth.
What is the best way to whiten teeth?

Is teeth whitening safe?
Yep, absolutely! As long as the procedure is done safely by a dental professional, teeth whitening is a great option. At Diamond Dental, we make it our mission to ensure your teeth are healthy and ready for whitening, so you can smile with confidence!
I have sensitive teeth. Can I still have my teeth whitened?
The most important point to start with is to try and establish why your teeth are sensitive?
For some patients, we can treat the sensitivity before your teeth whitening procedure. Teeth whitening can cause temporary enhanced sensitivity but this will subside shortly after. Therefore in a nutshell, just because you have sensitive teeth doesn’t mean you can’t achieve your pearly whites goal with Diamond Dental Clinic.
Should I give up coffees and red wines if I whiten my teeth?
Teeth whitening results tend to last longer if you don’t smoke or consume products that can cause staining on the teeth. These substances can cause external decay and reduce the brightness of the teeth. Regular brushing and dental cleaning visits to remove stains will help you maintain pearly white and healthy teeth.
Should I use bicarbonate soda, charcoal or coconut oil to whiten my teeth?
A big NO!
There’s no solid proof that these products actually whiten your teeth. Sure, baking soda is super versatile from cleaning your kitchen to tackling hard stains, but when it comes to your teeth, it’s pretty harsh. The same goes for charcoal toothpaste. Both may feel like a quick fix, but they can do more harm than good by being too abrasive. So, let’s skip the hype and stick to what really works for that smile!
